DECEMBER 2005: In late December our wonderful Vimy was donated to International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation (ISTAT Foundation), a 'not for profit' entity located in Fairfax, Virginia. ISTAT has indicated its intent to keep the Vimy flying and to help make its heritage available to all (ISTAT Website: www.istat.org/foundation). See article in the the January 2006 issue of ISTAT Jetrader magazine.

APRIL 2006: There was an unveiling of the Vimy coin in Gander, Newfoundland on April 5th at the Hotel Gander.   Roger Pike, Newfoundland coordinator, made a speech about the Vimy project and his participation.    The coins will be availalbe shortly and can be obtained through Hazel Bishop, Executive Director, at the Gander Chamber of Commerce via telephone: 709-256-7110 or email: ganderchamber@ganderchamber.nf.ca.
