Vimy Update — May 2004 The engines have been mounted! We are awaiting delivery of the Fuel Pumps, and soon after they arrive, test flying will begin! (Gawd Willing!)     VIMY HANGAR PARTY - 5/23/04 We had a successful Vimy party at the hangar on Sunday, May 23rd, in order to jump start the excitement of the upcoming Vimy plans. (Cross Canada in summer 2004 and Transatlantic in summer 2005) Clifden, Ireland meeting in June 2004 Peter McMillan and John LaNoue will be meeting Lang Kidby in Normandy for the 60th anniversary of D Day, in early June. After the festivities, Lang will meet up with our London anchor ally, Jenny Moseley, and travel to Clifden, Ireland to join Roger Pike (Newfoundland Ally) to see our friends, Michael Prendergast, Seamus Burke, Pat Mannion et al, and plan the Vimy's Irish 'touchdown' reception in 2005 and to develop the St. Jonh's Newfoundland /Clifden Ireland sister city theme - Marconi and Alcock & Brown (see new article).
