The Vimy is Mentioned on the Airventure Web Site June 8, 2001 You can find an article about the Vimy's appearance at Airventure Oshkosh at http://www.airventure.org/2001/news/vimy.html. The article includes some history of the Vimy, as well as two photos. Last year some Airventure fans may recall that the Vimy was scheduled to appear but never made it. There were some gearbox problems back then that have since been repaired. The Vimy has completed several test flights and is running well. The Vimy Project staff has every intention of getting the Vimy to Oshkosh for this year's festivities.
