        Vimy stamps from around the world! NEWFOUNDLAND 
        STAMP BLOCKOne-dollar stamp 
        issued by Newfoundland for the 1919 Alcock/Brown mail. $.50 from 
        each stamp went to the Permanent Marine Disasters Fund. 
 In 1929, Newfoundland 
        issued a postage stamp commemorating the tenth anniversary of the successful 
        1919 Alcock-Brown flight.  It showed the Vimy over St. John's as 
        it departed for Ireland. 
   CANADIAN 
        STAMPSCanadian stamp from 1969 commemorating 
        the 50th anniversary of the Alcock/Brown flight.
  BRITISH STAMPS In 1969, Great Britain issued 
        two postage stamps honoring the 1919 flights of the Vimy to Ireland, and 
        Australia.    
 RHODESIAN STAMPIn 1978, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) 
        issued a set of postage stamps commemorating the 75th anniversary of flight. 
         The 7¢ value honored the Silver Queen II.
